Building a breakthrough SaaS healthcare platform

The Challenge

With a mission to make the connection between caregivers, clients, and agencies more seamlessly, we set about developing an identity for CareConnect that would communicate the connectivity between different individuals resulting in one solid powerful network.

CareConnect has many different end-users. They all play together and they all tap into the CareConnect suite of products in different ways, and to different extremes. As a result, we wanted to define a solid emblematic visual that would be iconic and recognizable to viewers, but also tell the story of these many different users coming together to form that emblem.

Type

We wanted to make sure we picked a typeface that would work well on a screen within the CareConnect applications, as well as in any printed material and branded collateral. As a result, we selected Lato as our base font and got into the finer tuning of the presentation for the purpose of the logo treatment.

Color Palette

Being healthcare we wanted to stay light and welcoming with colors while still being able to add some instances that punch a little harder and add a little more light heartedness to the brand. We used these base colors to represent some defined areas of user touchpoint we have with the CareConnect products.

Definition & Rapid Creation Workshops

We worked directly with our client partners to unpack the problems and challenges that occur in this complex industry. By isolating out distinct critical aspects of the challenge we could ideate around solutions and design and prototype out micro solutions to test and validate.

Logomark

Health is easily recognizable by the symbol of a heart. We wanted to stick with this recognition, but make our version of the CareConnect heart be one that is made up of the many individual individuals that interface with the platform as a whole.

Different Uses

To give flexibility to the logo uses we wanted to make sure the concept would work on both light and dark backgrounds allowing the team to use a more dramatic presentation of the brand when needed.

The Results

The brand identity for CareConnect has been successfully applied across the entire CareConnect eco-system of products, in addition to all collateral and brand marketing materials. The branding platform continues to form a strong identifiable backbone that allows CareConnect to stand apart from its competitors in a loud and busy marketspace.
